Delma Eugene Presley collection of South Georgia history and culture, 1880-1951.

The collection is presently composed of two groups: 1) notebooks, papers and photographs of plant life and culture of the Okefenokee Swamp, collected by Dr. Dr. Francis Harper, 1912-1951; and 2) a large ledger, accompanied by folders, containing information about land lots in south central Georgia owned by the Georgia Land and Lumber Company, late 19th century.

Francis Harper, native of Massachusetts, was a zoologist and author affiliated with many universities. He was the author of Mammals of the Okefinokee Swamp Region of Georgia (1927).
